What Society?

2/14/2026

The recent news and exposures concerning the Epstein files only continues to confirm what I have felt about society since I was a teenager in the 90s, perhaps even earlier. Back then, I couldn't put my finger on it, I had no knowledge of what was going on, it was just a feeling or intuition. I was always wary and uncomfortable around anything organised within society, such as boys football clubs and Boys Brigade and all that. The vibe always felt off. Later, whenever I went to typical musician bars, and people would urge me to play, I felt a similar discomfort. Everyone put it down to a lack of confidence and yet I had no problem playing out on the streets as a busker years later.

It is what those typical musician venues represent that was off-putting, not necessary the act of playing to people in a bar or wherever. My question was always but where can this lead other than into the music industry? There must be another way. Most indie musicians don't even ask that question, they are just looking for a place to play and they'll play anywhere. I get that to some degree because any musician wants to play their music for people. The problem I have with this is summed in the familiar saying "your tribe affects your vibe". I have yet to see an example of anybody who has went into those areas and NOT been affected by it. Not been pulled into the collective vibration of that scene or organisation. I've been asked to play at pubs, uni, church, and community groups but I've always refused. The reason... all these things lead back to the same source. That source is the same source as the Epstein stuff.

It is incredible to me that so many separate instances of prostitute rings, paedophile rings and all kinds of other dark stuff has emerged for years now and yet the gullibility of the people means still so many refuse to look at and see where all these connections lead to. There is Jimmy Savile, supposedly only a DJ, who turned out to be one of the worst paedophiles in British crime history. Deeply linked to the Royal Family for many years. Then, separately, Prince Andrew is deeply linked to Jeffrey Epstein, another notorious paedophile. It is fairly well-known that Lord Mountbatten was a paedophile. So why is nobody asking why the whole Royal Family isn't being investigated? People often defend them with the guilt by association comeback. Yes, but how many families do you know who have links to several different major paedophiles stretching back over many years? If that was Joe Bloggs down the street, they'd certainly be investigated!

The paedophile rings are just one aspect of it and what has so far emerged publicly is just the tip of the iceberg. This stuff runs throughout society, operating through the seemingly innocent church groups and boys football clubs. The Thomas Hamilton Dunblane school shooting gave us a glimpse of that. There are plenty others out there exposing this stuff who have far more knowledge than me. The point I'm trying to make is these are the people running your "society". These are the people making laws, deciding how you must live, deciding how wealthy or poor you are. The question I have is why should I obey or listen to such people? Since I have no desire in me to dictate how others should live, if you are going to set down rules and tell me how I should live, then to begin with, you better be absolutely squeaky clean or how can I even take you seriously?

Why should I take part in such a sick society? It has been thrown at me before that I don't contribute or give to society but why would I want to give to such a sick system? So I have to find other ways to contribute to the world and to people. There is a difference between people and society. I am trying to reach natural people, not people who have themselves mixed up with society and can't tell the difference. It's not that I'm a perfect person or judgemental of others. There is no such thing as a perfect person first of all, and I've had plenty of judgement of me over my life and for many years I said nothing about others' lives. In fact, I prided myself on not doing so. Yet I also have the right to respond. If you're going to be critical of how I live then you better be ready for me to expose all I see wrong about society. It is the sheer hypocrisy of the system I am spotlighting.

I would like to see the whole thing rooted out because this dark stuff descends down from those at the top, so-called elites, and permeates throughout all society. Trying to do good in your local community is just shuffling the furniture around, it doesn't address the source of the problem and this why this stuff continues to go on, no matter how many charities are set up, how many do-gooder groups are organised. Only when it is understood the individual is the only reality - not cities, countries, race, political parties, religions, community groups - can people come together harmoniously and for the benefit of all.

So all these shocking revelations like the Epstein files again and again confirm my stance. It's a stance I wish I didn't have to make and I've had all kinds of misrepresentations made about it, from being called extreme to people thinking I want to be homeless. Jealousy? Show me one person who is doing things independently and on their own terms within that system (which now includes all your social media stars). It is impossible to get anywhere in that world without playing the game they want you to play. Maybe I would be jealous if I ever saw someone achieve that. As for the rest, I'm not impressed. That's not a knock on anybody's talent or abilities.

Even those I previously used to admire have, in recent times, gone down those paths and are now starting to look and act like everybody else in that world. They will defend it by saying you have to meet the world there, that's how things are done now, but if that is true, then they are all just charlatans because that ultimately means there is no way out and they know it yet they are selling hope to their followers. If another way is possible why aren't they living it instead of talking it? I deleted my Twitter/X account towards the end of last year when it became flooded with AI slop and so much fake bullshit. When you don't even know whether half the people you are engaging with are real or not, it's time to get out. Plus, I didn't want my data to contribute any more to their training of AI.

In fact, another thing being confirmed to me on a daily basis at an accelerating rate are my feelings about the internet and lack of real life social interaction amongst humans I've been pointing out since the late 90s. The internet has become meaningless since the rise of AI slop and going by the comments I see all over social media, more and more people are starting to realise this. I say this as someone who has used the internet since 1998 and who has had some benefits from it, so I'm not anti-technology. I thought at one time it had wonderful potential but sadly it very quickly deteriorated to where we are now. Yet each time I've tried to engage with people away from the internet they often pull away, so many seem more comfortable behind a screen, which is symbolic of our times. And I say this as quite a shy person myself.

So society to me, whether it is offline or online, has very little to offer if you are looking for genuine, sincere connection. Still, I can't help but make Music and then I naturally want to put that out there in the world to enrich and uplift peoples' lives. I want this Music to reach the hearts of people not societies.
